you are a genious, this car is everything a pure petrol head dreams about, forget oem, its all about this, being different and having the balls to chop the hell out of a perfectly good car and turn it into a full chew you up and spit the bones out ball cruncher.
You are my god, is it going to be ready for the bmw show at santa pod in september

hi ya guys. i know its been a while since the last update but ive been mega busy with work. any way, quite alot has been going on with the project or though it all still looks much the same.
as the engine bay is now finished the supercharged engine is in its new home.

i decided to fiddle with it and get it up and running so its less work in the end
once i finished drooling over the sound of it i turned my attention to the roll cage. thanks to mrbenn i picked up this safety devices 18 point jobby. and after a bit of cutting, mainly the sunroof tray it now looks right at home.

now the fun bit.... due to the minor distortion from all the welding the rear quarters and wings have had a full skim of filler

now dont be thinking this car is going to be tin of upol on wheels, its not. as you can see by the front wing, after flating the primer down there is very few low spots.

after a bit of sanding with the long block the passenger side is now ready for its first coat of primer.

as its never a dull moment in my workshop, whilst waiting for filler to dry etc etc ive cleaned up and painted the spare engine block. ready for the 2.8 build.

ive also reinforced the front bumper to replace the strength after stretching it and 98% finished one side.

ive also bought all the trick bits and add ons for when its complete. that will be a fun day and i cant wait.
i hope you all enjoy and the next dose of pictures will see it all in primer
