Removed the petrol tank on the 325 today to do all the rear brake pipes,and tank is slightly crusty around the seam (not leaking tho)so ive ordered one from eurocarparts for tomorow,may aswell then all underneath the back end is sorted.

Does anybody no what they call the metal deflector pieces (in dealer terms) that fit to the rear of the rear floor pans in between the tank and floor pan..as im having trouble explaining these to them, and i want to replace them as ther rusty..and price?

Pete, you need 10 & 11, they are specific to each side and cost about £5 each from the dealers

New rear and main feed brake pipes sorted,new tank up and fitted (brushed waxoil all over it),now cleaning rear arches out with the wire brush and found some areas that need atention asap...im also replacing the metal trim that covers the breather pipes on the offside rear inner arch does anybody have a part number for this?? Dam and my chromie is mint all over
Also ive sprayed the headlight bezels black.

Just saw this in TBMW and it looks great - Even better in the flesh though! I love the wheels (what i'd give for a set of new gen Alpinas - I would even sell the wife!)
Sold the chromie with the leathers you passed onto me and now have a mint 325i touring - bit of vibration from the centre prop-shaft bearing thingy - how easy are these to replace?
Did you chip your 325, if so which one did you use, where did you get it, and would you recommend??

I have several beckers somewhere.
I just use the kenwood coz i work in the ghetto so they see it and usually brak the window take it n leave me with a better one and a note saying sorry for braking the window but ur stereo was poo so heres a better one so when i look i have the original 20 year old bmw one

Been up to my other garage where my blue 325 is to fire it up today as work is a little slack and it fired straight away and so sounded sweet..dam i miss my 325 been on the road,While i was there i fitted a black facia period'ish kenwood stereo courtesy of e30topless,Thanks again steve.and fitted a pre facelift injector loom which allows the rocker cover breather to fit correctly without been crushed when the hartge rocker cover is fitted!
