Whilst we're all salivating, let's pause for a moment, to consider why 100% of the car manufacturers I can think of put that thing in the middle of the windscreen?! Is it to aid the driver in seeing what's behind him?!

They dont have them on vans with a bulk head. The legal requirement (ie to pass a mot) is to have rear view mirrors, 2 external or 1 internal and 1 external on the drivers side.

You've got to admit, there is more of a "blind spot" with just the two wing mirrors. The lorry/van solution's a compromise, how else could a commercial vehicle carry a substantial load when laden? A periscope?!

Otherwise, a seriously well thought out car. When's it in PBMW?? ....and where's Kos?

love the mirror mod, an excellent solution to where to place the gauges
not having that mirror wouldnt bother me as i drive a lorry and got into the habit of
not using it anyway
