Whilst we're all salivating, let's pause for a moment, to consider why 100% of the car manufacturers I can think of put that thing in the middle of the windscreen?! Is it to aid the driver in seeing what's behind him?!

whats wrong with the side mirrors ?
They dont have them on vans with a bulk head. The legal requirement (ie to pass a mot) is to have rear view mirrors, 2 external or 1 internal and 1 external on the drivers side.SidewaysScouser wrote:Whilst we're all salivating, let's pause for a moment, to consider why 100% of the car manufacturers I can think of put that thing in the middle of the windscreen?! You've got to admit, there is more of a "blind spot" with just the two wing mirrors. The lorry/van solution's a compromise, how else could a commercial vehicle carry a substantial load when laden? A periscope?!
Otherwise, a seriously well thought out car. When's it in PBMW??
....and where's Kos?

Remarkable workmanship,BUT,all you haters of all things French, take note, the undisputed King of E30 Touring modding,Dips here, has incorporated a bit of Renault influence, just to take it to that slighty higher level of quality.......
