The borbet As in the first pics, also buying some schmidt TH line reps and hopefully a set of keskins

If you get keskins, im assuming your thinking about purchasing kt1's. Wouldn't it look almost identical to the other brown e30 runnings OZ futura's??

3sdm are releasing the 0.05 in 4x100 16" 8j & 9j in april. I think they look bad ass! my brothers running them on his bora, they they have an old skool look to them with the new skool concave design

I have a love hate relationship with borbet As, sometimes they look nice and sometimes they look dog ugly. Borbet Bs look much better imo

Just make sure youve got the cover clean of all grease dirt and shit, prime it, then apply nice even coats of colour.

And do it somewhere warm, dry and dust free. Damp and cold are the enemies of good paint.

If you're feeing obsessive, small metal parts can be got perfectly clean, popped in the oven at 60 degrees for 10 mins then moved (without touching with bare hands obviously) to wherever you intend to paint it. It will cool down rapidly, but having the metal itself a bit warmer as the paint goes on seems to really help. Also make sure you warm the paint up in a jug of warm water for a while before you use it if it's cold. I did a few bits like this and got pretty decent results..

I love the look of the 0.05 its a similar spoke design to the ferrari f40 wheel. If i never had more important things to do to my banger, i'd defo be one of the first to have these wheels on an e30

Had to swap over my doors locks and microswitches today
The result = a drivers door that now unlocks, and a waterproof un dented passenger rust free door

Hahaha gert your location makes me laugh. My dad has been helping do so much of the car. Alot of it has been me sorta watching and learning. Hammoj has also been a huge help giving bits of advice and help with bits like the tech 2 kit and helping me plug my holes..... Including fit the weather strip which was a horrible job that took ages

As for paint the kit is already in primer. As soon as the weather heats up a little the boots and bonnet will be done. Then just need to finish sanding the car a tad more and we can go.

Weld exhaust in place
Fit rear end
and thats all it needs before paint

It does also need a water pump and an ECU chip. But im not chipping it til iv done a fluid and filter change ( hopefully mid march )

Then its a case of just the finishes touches, smoked lights, MHW tail lights, shit like that. Its not as far away as it looks

I like them alot, they look good in a photoshop pic and will look much better in the flesh as they will fill the arches more and you can really admire the concave design then

i might have to pull a few strings and get them brought
