It's amazing, should have been car of the month. This is the true soul of e30zone.

Tony has a real eye for detail and his conversion is the best I've seen, visually. A real perfectionist. My only regret is not having the funds to buy it myself.

Wullie, you're in for a treat mate!

Max,not an easy decision but definately for the best!

Nathan,your too kind sometimes :o:
Yes Wullie is going to get a nice car but theyll be plenty left for him to do.
To be honest the pics really do it some favours. It does have a number of scratches etc that just dont show up in the pics. Then there is the horrid roundel delete thimg going on at the back.Really is a shitty job of filler/rattlecan and it genuinely does let the `back end` look down.If i was keeping it I would have already got this sorted,no doubt Wullie will soon!

Christ, that's great. I'm new here, but I immediately found your cars (actually saw pics on united bimmer first and then hunted here). I may get an e30 and do an m50 swap (had e34s up until now and love that engine). You seem to be pretty au fait with the process. Know anyone that could turn one around pretty quickly in the UK, and specifically the north? I'm no mechanic you see, would love to know if anybody in UK is doing this swap professionally. Great work on the car by the way.

Wow Adam, you dragged this up from the past :D
Thanks for the kind comments mate, seems oh so long ago now!
I too am no mechanic but do like a challenge.
First time round was the hardest....sourcing all the different parts then getting them to fit etc.
Reshell was a little easier as it was just a case of refitting the M50 bits involved.
Not sure of anyone who does this on a professional basis but there are now loads of M50 conversions about around the country so im sure someone near to you could be persuaded to do it for you?
I am doing one very soon for someone else but he only lives down the road so
If you do decide to go ahead, wether DIY or paying someone else then I recommend you source all the parts needed first before starting as this can hold up the job as it did my first time around!

Good luck and if you decide to go ahead keep us informed :D
