hi zone

just thought i would post some pics of my 1989 318. i brought it a few months ago off ebay for £400 as a non runner it was in a sorry looking state flat paint jus an all round dog. i spent around 800 quid gettin it going, mot and and stuff that needed doing but not bad enough to fail mot. its been a pain in the asse so far but i love it. it still needs loads more work bodywork, electrical and its not fast enough. funds are bit low and i still gos to pay for my bbs refurbs which are away now.so im stuck with some buckled 5 spokes. and its in work this weekend as after a vallet yesterday me centrallocking packed up and the car is de locked.so had to brake in to it. i think me alarm packed up. got a m8 coming out to have a look monday.
any hoo great website and some lovley cars keep up the good work.
cheers

dave

She's begging for some colour coded SE side skirts (cough - got some in White waiting)

Result on the buying price as well - in the first pic she's got 17" DTM's on her, you don't see these rims very often any more and thus pushing their price up on the market.

IMO - you bought the rims and got the car free because the seller didn't know their rarity but.

If it was mine though, i'd remove the 'Rieger' kidney grill adaptation and replace it with a standard grill painted satin Black. At the end of the day though, each to their own on how you want your E30 styled - it's all about expression of personality

Well done and welcome to the Zone fella, Neil.

The kidney grill is the 'nose' part of the grills on the front - the White bit you've got on there is part of a "Rieger" body kit.

The side skirts are the ones you'll find on the SE models or most Tourings - nice and suttle but these ones are already painted White.

Brave move getting the DTM's painted but, as done in other threads on here with genuine Alpina's etc etc - you don't know how they'll be until you've got them back on the motor - 99% of the time they end up looking spot on.

Neil.

suit it.

Nice motor you got there mate, you can't beat a clean white E30.

I agree with Gooner on the wheels i think the 5 spokes look better. Any ideas what make the front valance is?
