Hi, Just sold my e39 M5 few days ago and i just had to buy another E30 asap.

This is what i bought:

E30 325i 1989(but it didnt hit the streets in germany until 1991 O:) ) it has 146k km on it(only 90k miles!!)
AC schnitzer kit and 16" wheels, not sure if it was modified by the company.

I got it yesterday and almost instantly after picking it up i dropped of some stuff that came with it to my home and went to the local track here in iceland and oh my god it was soo much fun, the LSD locks up great and the power of the m20b25 is really nice compared to my experience of those engine's. The suspension is good excepty for worn out trailing arms bushings and handled really good at the track, it has a combo of Koni Sports and IE stage 3 springs.

This car will be my "Toy" for drifting and going to the track. I found out that the e39 m5 is not the solution to this addiction as everything costs more, gas, maintaince, tires(275/35/18 isnt cheap in iceland).

My plans are simple and i will buy everything i want/need this weekend on bmw2002.com wich would be: Poly urathane trailing arms bushings(the one i have now are worn out and when i drive over bumbs and stuff i hear cloink noises), urathane motormounts, gearbox, IE 25/22 adjustable swaybar kit and front strutbrace. I will also buy a bucket seat so i wont roll around as much in those sucky comfort seats :???:

Plans later on after the car is finished (brakes, suspension, look) is definatly Turbo or motorswap but that wont happen soon :)

Here are some old pictures from the previous owner(i will take better pictures when i have cleaned and waxed the car)

I love the ACS look. very subtly. I'd say that was factory fit. If it is its a rare car. Look after it, it's a nice one.

I Like it..............................A LOT

Very nice! Looks like it's in very nice condition, anf the kit and wheels look great. There seems to be a lot of nice e30s in Iceland.

Me knees are still hurting from that sunday since i have the comfort seats in my car and i have hold my self in place with my knees againt the door and interior where the gearlever is... so there was no other solution then to go for something more RACE :)

Image

I think it comes out pretty good. could almost be stock becouse of the colour combo, gray seats in the back and carpet and leather door panels.

Ready for drift 8)

Got my shipment today :P

When i got home i went to the parking garage and put the strutbrace in.

Image

The car is rock solid when trying to push it from the side, i didnt bother going for a drive since it was very windy and loads of rain. But this morning i drove it to work and my first impression is that its very good, the car just turns and does not slide forward even how much i push it and the tarmac was wet... maybe becouse i have good tires at the front and not so good at the back ... but hey its a diffrence :P

The rest of the package:

Image

these are urathane motormounts, gearbox, trailing arm og 25/22mm swaybar set adjustable from IE

Cant wait to feel the handling when the sways go in :P
