Dont have to be in carclub to do Gaydon,im not and im still going.just means we have to park in the normal carpark
no idea on a Cheddar meet yet,was thinking of getting something organised soon though!
Oz,thanks mate but ill give yours a miss due to the switch.shame though
To be honest theres no real rush for the console, its just the one ive fitted, all the vynil(sp) is peeled from around the ashtray part.

Update 21/07/07
Just been on a bit of a spirited drive. To be honest i gave the car some real stick.Started out by showing a shitty Skyline lookalike calibra thing whats what.He obviously thought that his 16v had R34 twin turbos or something, well he was left with his tail between his legs
First real thrashing its had to be honest and going by how much fuel its used itll probably be the last too
Anyway took the camera with me and manged to get a few pics.Again im no expert so they are not the best but hey i tried!
Oh and done a mod on my horrid Germen plates.
I have never been a fan of the `D` but as the supplying company wouldnt change them i thought id try something different.
I personally think they look cool and to be honest thats all that really matters but feel free to comment

Just got to find a bootlid now with no holes.
also not sure i want to fit the SE skirts anymore.Ill get them anyway and do a temp fit,if i dont like the look ill just pass them on to someone else!
Need a proper set of smoked side repeaters too, these ones are tacky `paint your own orange` ones

Right just to keep this post alive
As most of you know this car is now sold, well as good as.Wullie325i will be flying down from Scotland on 16th August.Ill pick him up from the airport and he can then drive the car back to my house, about 25 miles which will be a nice test drive or him
Ill be very sad to see it go,even though ive not had it long I certainly wont forget it in a hurry.Still got the cuts and oily fingernails after the epic 17 day rebuild!
Anyway hopefully Wullie will be very happy with it and finish all the final touches a project car always needs.Only little daft things but itll keep him busy im sure.
In the meantime, not being one to just sit back and wait,I decided to do something with the PAS reservoir.
Untill now(previous E30 too) I just had it cable tied lower down the turret.
Although it `worked` it was never a permenent fix so i decided to move it.
To get access before to fill with fluid the whole airbox had to be took out as the cap was just below the TB hose.Only takes 10 mins but still a pain in the arse
Used a slightly modified E30 bracket and moved it to just behind the N/s headlight.
Looks a lot neater and more original and now 2 minute job to check the level/refill
Bit of a temp bodge to extend the pipes but tomorrow ill pop to the local hydraulics place and get some modified properly!
Couple of crap pics.
First pic will give you an idea of where to access the PAS filler cap before-directly below the TB pipe

and this one is just to show off
