Would VHT Black stay on if i did it?
Depends on what material the trims are..
stainless, it would stay for a while but not forever, just keep painting them.
if they are mild chromed, grind the chrome off and VHT would work fine,

Tony, your car looks sweet mate, almost like your old one, which was one of my favourite looking e30s

How long did it take to swap the interior?, cos I'm hoping to do mine this weekend, but have no clue how easy it is, or how long it will take....

Peace of p1ss Carl, 1 hour with a tea break winkeye

Fronts seats are 2x 17 mm nuts and 2 x bolts (Might be under some black plastic covers that pop off) per seat...

Rear bench: Remove the bottom first, just lifts forward and un-clips from where your calf's would be if sat down

Upper part: 2 x 10mm bolts at the bottom (Black legs) 1 each side then just lift upwards towards the rear window...

Cards: Various screws and clips...

Refitting is the reverse of removal!!

OBs

**Tony see you in a bit

Vulcan Bomber looks great Tony,

Thanks for your letter that arrived today BTW, Car is looking super cool, loving the clean look about it. This was one of the topics of discussion between myself and Bruce today and both agreed on what a great look it's got as it is.

Super quick time too

car looks class tony...quietly understated, def agree on getting the boot badge back, no badges always seems to have an unfinished paint job vibe!

Well as it happens, the interior I'm getting is at Fritz's (still in Glenns old car at the moment) but we were planning to go up today to take it out anyway! :)

What time were you going up?

Not sure yet. I was thinking about the same time. I need to speak to Glenn to see what time he wants to go up. I was trying to ring Dave yesterday, to see if he was going to be about, but I couldn't get through to him. But I guess he must be if you are going up!!

Cheers Brian :)

got loads of the little gremlins sorted today, well RandomDave did while i did Bimmamans interior :P
Extra exhaust mounting fitted to stop it rattling on the rear valance.
Sorted out the engine wiring properly, done a nice neayt job of that.

Then when Dave was going to try it up the road it just stopped dead.Traced the fault back to the plug which goes on the fuel pump.Wire was obviously broken inside cause if you moved the wires slightly the pump would work, let them go and it would cut again, ended up chopping a bit of wiring and new plug off a breaker and resoldering it back on.Just drove it 40 miles home and doesnt miss a beat now!
Nice one Dave,top job :thumb:

That's a beautiful job there. 8)
Interesting choice going with the clear indicators instead of smoked.
What lump is in it? That's not a 2.5 is it?

Side repeaters were swapped yesterday with Bimmaman for his smoked ones.

EKO, long time no speak. I totally missed the thread about your old car.....what a bloody shame. However, this is one super-clean looking car; it looks awesome! I must admit, and I'm probably on my own here, but I prefer the old rims although you said they were crap. Anyway, super job, mate and very inspirational! :D

Couple more pics.
Fitted a set of fogs from ChrisW.Drivers one looks misted but that just the camera angle.Finishes the front perfectly.
Also fitted Lux centre console/glovebox/underdash panel from Bimmaman.Ties in with the leather perfect and looks sweet,IMO of course.

PS if anyone has the same console and wants to get rid of the handbrake section PM me :)
