Papenio,
I was actually considering seling and trading for a '05 plate E46 M3 convert.
At the end of this month it gets its 6 mths tax, annual oil service, Zymol, etc for the summer months, i'll give it a week driving around and see how it goes. Probably change my mind totally once the sun comes out again. Dont really want to sell up but i just fancy a change after owning it for near 8 years. I think the draw of the E46 M3 power is attracting me.
Thanks for all the kind comments,
Andy

The decision to sell is not due to pressure or encouragement from people asking if i would sell. I am neither trying to generate false interest. I started the thread back in October 2005 in a different frame of mind. If i did decide to sell it would be for an E46 M3 convertible, there wouldn't really be any point having both. However, as i said, i'll give it a week or so driving it to see if the buzz is still in it.

with the recent weather andy i,m sure you will never part with such a stunning example unless someone makes you a seriously big price.motorsport wrote:The decision to sell is not due to pressure or encouragement from people asking if i would sell. If anything it will probably be at the end of summer, achievable price may be a little less but the E46 M3 should be more affordable too.

Don't really get time for shows. My car has a few very minor niggles, but as it's a hobby more than anything they'll all be sorted by the end of summer.

Took the car for its MOT today, flew through without any advisories. 1050 miles since Oct 2005, I'll have to take it easy with the miles i'm knocking up....!!!!
Got the 6 mths tax and decided to spend another day Zymoling until the paint nearly came off.
Decided the E46 M3 i was going to trade for just didn't cut it like the E30 does, so decided I'm gonna keep hold of this for another 8 years.
Absolutely love it again after keeping it under wraps since last September.
Anyhow load more pics i took today whilst the sun was out.
Cheers all,
Andy

Standard 325i shocks with mtech springs. Coupe rear mtech springs though as they are a tad softer than the cab/touring springs and therefore allow a slight drop. I have decided to give the standard 325i shocks a go and I am pleasantly impressed. A whole lot more comfortable ride than the mtech inserts and still excellent handling. Put the mtech inserts to one side for this summer fancied a comfortable cruise. Still no rubbing issues at all with the 18" reps.

17 alpina reps vibrated like hell, the 18 are perfect. Maybe just luck. You will need some decent centralising hub rings.

Jay
I think the answer is metal spigot rings. Search on here, i'm sure somebody solved it.
The 18's are around £550 delivered now.
Cheers,
Andy

I have just reposted on my own old thread. Just interested if my old car is again floating around on here.
Been 4 years since i sold it on and always wondered where it as was and if it was for sale again...!
Has anyone seen it?
