If its been done, could someone push me in the direction of the thread?

The cost of a sheet of ally from B&Q!

They were never intended to be a permenant fixture, but it wouldn't cost a lot to get some machined up properly...

In those pics it was a friction fit with a dab of silicone for peace of mind... If I was doing it permenantly I'd either make them out of something thicker or make a second plate to go behind them, & drill a stepped hole for an allen key fitting into the original mounting hole.

Cliffybabe - next time you have a wheel off, stick it on the bathroom scales - let me know how much it weighs; that's what's wrong with them
Hyperion - I think gold wheels with a red car is looking good... Ferrari thought so

So thanks, you have answered a long awaited question.

They are the 10" wide versions i believe. I was going to get them for the back of my M3 but thought there may have been rubbing issues
Dont forget you will also need a 5 stud conversion if you do get a set (not sure if they make them in 4 stud?)
Sweet looking car though

thats my pc desktop thing... my inspiration... All it needs is about another inch drop and some lightly tinted windows and its perfect.
Oh and black centers on the wheels.
