Can you just picture it dude. Yeah they will set the car off good with a set of stretched rubber on them too. Tech 2 kit minus spoiler going on there to. Side pods going to need some modification but should be ok.
I love the Mtech 2 without rear spoiler looks so smooth :D Can't wait to see this car finished.

Yeah it is a cool look i agree. Just love the look of the tech 2 kit compared to the SE look. The bulkier bumpers will hopefully be complimented by the wider arches and wheels. Cant wait to see it finished to. Not to long now.

AC SCHNITZER you should post up some pics of your car.

ed325i why do you think they are the wrong shape? I must admit these pics are not doing the car any justice as they are off my phone and we have tried to keep the original shape of the arches and just give it that extended look. Hopefully when the cars painted it will give you a better idea. Any input is greatly appreciated.

The bit as it joins the side of the car the back one and the front one.
I know you are going to put m tec 2 side pods on so it may look ok then.

Oh i got you now sorry. I think that may partly be down to my crap phone and the picture quality because its quite a smooth line in real life and does not seem to go that in but as you say the kit will go over it anyhow.

Hows your project coming along?

Paid a visit to see how my car was coming along and here she is. Sorry i could only get pics of one side as it was quite close to a wall on the other side. Its all in Prima but needs to be smoothed off. M-Tech bumpr on there because it had to be moved to another garage for reasons that are to long to explain  but will be prepped and painted here now.
Hope you like. Im definently going to come to Aces this month if the car is 100% ready which it should be. Its been a long 3 months but we are finally at the finishing stages!

Looking at the front & back of the shell without any lights, it would appear you could make a one piece panel to go in each, and maybe give it the blacked-out/stealth look like a classic Dodge Charger or similar. Wonder if anyone's tried this?

Glad you like the thread dude. I really dont know how i've waited for so long but i guess i know/hope it will be worth the wait. I cant go see it everyday which would be great but i got pics of it on my computer and occasionally flick through them. Get that corrosion sorted quick time iff you keeping the car. Not a nice sight at all!

Interesting idea mate but i dont think im brave enough to even try that. Dont think it would look right on these cars. The way they look now is fine. Im hoping by extending the arches it does not lose to much of the original shape and character of how it was before.

Thats good to hear dude. Unfotunently its a expensive job to sort out corrosion/rust depending how much it is. If you want someone to give it a once over i would recommend the guy doing my car thats if you have no-one in mind. There are a couple of highly recommended people on here to.

How long you had your car?

Went to see the car yesterday and took a couple of quick snaps of the front. Wanted to get more of the whole car but had to leave!

What you guys think of the arches? Suppose you cant really fully appreciate the quality unless you see it real life but judging by the photos?

think the arches look fantastic, or at least will do as long as the wheels are nice and wide and fill them properly.

are they fibreglass covers, or have the origional arches been extended? looks a top notch job either way. 8)

Hyperion, gurps singhji and ed. Thanks for the positive comments. very much appreciated.
I spoke to my mate and he said that it should be finished this week BUT the idiot went and left my tech2 skirts at the other garage! What a plonka! So in the meantime i will get pics up but the will not have the side pods or side skirts.Only the tech2 bumpers will be on. I'll probably stick the the side strips on for now. He better have it done by this thursday...it my birthday!!!!
