Oh dear, what a disappoint for you all, sorry...

It was many years ago, insurance was a consideration, as was the amount of limbs, or lack of, I had to operate foot pedals...
It's a 1.6 Auto... still quite nippy though, the throttle is operated in the on or off position, and the handling makes it quite fun...

It's lasted me 12 years without serious outlay, and sails through the MOT every year... couldn't ask more of it

329i Turbo

2.0gti lump?in a MK1 shelled cab?nope!

16v is too many, and I dont think that lump is as tractable or drivable IMHO.

guess i'm just oldskool

1.8 16v at a push, but only cos it sounds nice!

my old toledo had a 90bhp version of the 1.8 8v GTI lump (single point instead of multi) and it has more torque than the 90bhp 1.9 TDI i replaced it with-F00king great engine!

gotta love a Vdub

does it lift its inside rear wheel if you're turning a tight corner fast?!the MK1 was known for that!

at least its not a 1.3, walking is faster and more fuel efficient
