Kedge - not bothered about flashing orange... "They're a 'dark' orange officer..."

E30 - Yeah, missed the bloody Bin-men on Thursday! Grrrrrr!

Dave - You gotta look good on the track dude... It did have some damage (though not by me) so a couple of front wings later and a hammer to the rear valance, and it's all pretty now.

Andy - Erm, Donnington... yeah, erm, been meaning to tell you about that, not going to be able to make it. Still not got round to sorting out the water problem (or lack of it) and the trailer needs dome welding work on it, and at the moment I haven't got time to find a few days to do it all. Still renovating the house to move into as this is the priority. Need to sell the one I'm in to get some cash... THEN I can play with the toys... he he!

The bin-men have been now... Phew! Only just caught them.

(see pic) 8) 8)

329i Turbo... on the track, they recommedn you tape your headlights up in case of an accident. I was trying to do something different to the usual 'cross of tape' thing you always see... you don't like it?

Andy... yeah yeah yeah... I want your engine. Will be bugging the hell out of you and Toby when the time comes to do mine... I expect weekly visits from you guys!

Cheers Ben!

The photos make it look immaculate, but believe me it's not. Lots of chips and scratches and stuff... it does look like a racer in real life, trust me!

Sport is my baby. Need some paint on her in a few small places though, and a few other cosmetic jobs inside, then she'll be sweet.

So on Thursday the bin'll dissapear from the last photo too? lol :D

Are you sticking with those 'pinas then? Wouldn't have thought they were the obvious choice for a track car...

Ziggy... did have 15" BBS's on, but in my desire to have 'Pina reps, I did a deal with Scott for these. Put them on the Sport, so the Sport BBS's were on the track car.

Drove the Sport about with them on for a while, but a) they didn't look right due to the standard ride height and b) they wobbled while at speed on the motorway, so taken them off till c) I put the H&R's on the Sport and d) I get new tyes put on them so it's worth getting them balanced.

I've just bought some BRAND NEW 14" Weller racing wheels and tyres for the track car. (no, not the white 8 spoke classics... lol) - Until I go on the track again, the 'Pinas will stay on the track car... for storage reasons... honest! It's a shame it's not taxed and insured, coz I keep wanting to drive it, but the water loss problem still hasn't been fixed... Grrrr!

Giles! I bet that 318iS shifts cause its all stripped out! Or atleast it must be almost as quick as your Sport? When i had my old iS it went so much quicker when i stripped out the interior to go pick up my new leather seats :o

Wil... it is pretty nimble... it's got a chip, BBTB, K&N induction and a stainless system, so it's got no excuses... but it's just so fragile. Had 3 water heating problems so far and now it's beginning to annoy me...

I just got to wait till the weather gets a bit better so I can spend some more time on her, see why it keeps happening.

Till then, I'm drawing up plans for the 3.5... Mwuhh ha ha ha haaaa *evil laugh*

Daryll - Cheers fella!

Yeah, no probs... but it won't be for a while yet, probably not till the end of the year...

The chip is great, and the BBTB makes it a lot smoother... trouble is, it's not even been used!!! So I haven't had chance to get it out on the road and give it a good thrashing. Only driven it to the exhaust place, and that was in the middle of the day, so had to keep a low profile as it's not insured or taxed... tut tut, naughty boy. Couldn't be bothered to get it on the trailer... then take it off, then put it back on, then take it off again... you get my drift.
