My Kumho Race Cars

I'd quite like to run them against a standard 325 on a circuit just to see the difference to be honest... take bets on how many laps it takes for one car to lap the other! The car closest in the pics is running 203bhp on 2.5L with triple 45's and weighs 1030 with me in it though... so it isn't what you'd call standard!

Now there's an idea. I'll take that bet, it's a standard engine...... promiseM3GTR wrote:I'd quite like to run them against a standard 325 on a circuit just to see the difference to be honest... take bets on how many laps it takes for one car to lap the other! Agreed, I've not quite finished that part yet, only H&R springs and boge shocks, front strut brace, std ARB's and uprated discs/pads installed so far.M3GTR wrote:Yeah I'm sure you turbo'd guys would show it a thin or two in a straight line at least....but engine is nothing without handling though
But with 350/400bhp on hand, going round corners is sooooo much fun

I have to be carefull tho as without a dyno to prove I'm blowing hot air!e30_320i wrote:

I should say "theorectically 350/400bhp" save any aggro then
Cheers Ant - Haven't finished building teh MS yet, I'm about half way through but struggle to find the time to be honest! Not really that urgent any more anyway though as the new car on carbs is my toy whilst the other is being hired out on a "fairly" regular basis at the moment. It'd be good to get it up and running to see some improvements though.Ant wrote:looking good Paul![]()
you get that MS up and running yet btw ?
Thanks mate.... but I think you're confusing me with one of the production BMW (aka Milltek BMW) guys who are only allowed 320 or 318 cars. I'm running these cars in the Kumho BMW championship and the pre 93 and Classic Thunder races of the Classic Touring Car Racing Club.
