Saw this car on the internet, went to the owner and bought it!

It's a 318i with only 103.000Km (not sure how many miles it is)
Elektrik windows,antenna and roof
Black metallic with grey leather.
Windscreen and a new radio + I get the old radio (cd) to.
Car only drove in the summer so still looks like new.
16" wheels (don't like them)
And the original 14" BBS wheels

I'll drive it when the good weather starts than I have to sell my "IS" because it's a little bit to expansive.
The inssurance is just way to high.
Pitty do because I love driving the car but want to drive with a convertible so.... :(

Yes indeed :D

Wrote my car in today and had the luck that the sun was shining, so went to work and tryed to make the roof go well.
Found out that I have to chanche 2 pieces of the roof(boot) but for now I can open and close it with the help of my hands.

Then took a drive, cold but fun all the way!

Put an IS lip and still have to put the M-technik gearshift on.
And maybe tommorow I'll give it a good polish.

I've got a smale update, had to choose between these:

Image

Image

The M-tech is going in my cab, fit's best int the interior,
The Schnitzer is for my IS, fit's best with the racing dynamics wooden interior parts.

And maybe stupid but changed the steel reserve wheel with a original bbs wheel.

Image

Now still waiting for the BBS RS wheels, the centers are ready so will have those this weekend. The rims are still in order.

Lovely, i love metallic black cars, leather and convertables! Great mix. Those wheels are great, so much more tasteful than the ones that were on it. I must get some tasteful ones for mine soon lol.

I have the tires, but still have to put the wheels together so they wont leak.

Tires are Pirelli's 195-50 15, normal tyre because it's a daily and want to spare the wheels from the great bumpy roads we have here :D

Nice interior and like the new wheels! But 195/50 all round might be a little bit small, I'd rather go with 205/50 and 215/50, if you remember that 205/55 is still the stock size 195/50 is going to be not only a little bit thinner but also a lot smaller in diameter, and definitely NOT helping with sparing your fine rims.. I kind of doubt that you can put those on such wide rims, or even if you can it will look a bit funny.

But indeed PROPS for the wheels! :woohoo: Making something similar myself at the moment but with 0,5" wider rears. Love BBS RS rims.

P.S. As a final touch you could also polish the center hexagons. 8)

I'll see wat the 195/50 will do, normally they fitt like german style.
But yes I know it's dangerous for the outer rims, But I will see what they do.

I didn't go wider because normally they will fit just in the car, with 0,5 wider they will defently come out.

Ow and about the centers, they will be polished but didn't had the time yet  .

But good luck with yours!

the wheels are lovely mate, stunning. but 195 is too low, i think 205 is much better on the rears as its atill a good stretch. i had 215 on 9" wheel and it looked the business

I wish :D but no, the original was in bad shape with the wing on it, so I put this one till I find a better one or when I respray here.
So it's just a sprayed black one now :D .
