Either swapping the rear Windows to shadow line or painting the chrome black will make a big difference to the look of it. :D

The ocd valeter in me looks at that car and reaches for the clay bar with one hand and the mop with the other! Mind you, with all the cars you've got there keeping them clean is a full time job in itself. I just wish I had all that space.

Where are you in Ireland? Noticed Cork plates on one of the cars. I used to be in Cork a lot for work, love the place. The missus' family is from Edenderry. A night out down the pub with her uncle Denny is messy, and his missus looks like Nursey from the Duckula cartoon but an angry version. Not been over for a few years now but I do like a trip to Ireland.

i live in the country side so its hard to keep her clean with all the farmers destroying the roads! plus a black car doesent help either! she stays clean for about a day! and thats avoiding certain roads!

having the room is great alright but with 7 projects i have enough to see me to my 40's!

its a fight for attention between the e30 at the moment and this girl who just turned vintage!

and the rest are waiting for there turn!

thanks! i think the wear is from rubbing of the engine hoist bracket as the tread is bad on spark plug side of the head so it wont bolt up properly!

i might be doing the camshaft oil seal before long anyway so she will be getting a new belt and pulley if needed then!

other wise today i replaced the rear rocker shaft blind plugs! these really needed doing as the old ones were very worn even compared to the front!

i also put a new o ring on the diff speed sensor.

this is what happens when there is no o ring oil everywhere!

a few days ago i sanded back the bumper trim and repainted them and fitted a new tow hook blank!

hmm time for another update i think i have ticked of another few jobs to be done on my 30 and plenty more will be done early next year!

so here is pics of the car with new parts as well as repairs/upgrades that have been done over the last few months!

so first of i think around august i went to limerick to pick up a galvanised rear axle beam along with 4 bbs center caps and powerflex eccentric lolipop bush's

so then after at least a month i got powerflex rear beam mounts and set about swapping in the galvanised rear beam as well as doing the wishbone lolipop bushes!

Image
Image
Image
out with the old
Image
Image
in with the new!

and a couple of pics from when i fitted the spare wishbone's with new febi ball joints and powerflex lolipop bushes! this job went on till half 3 in the morning so does who are like to point out things will see the lolipop bush is on the wrong wishbone in the picture!

so i was getting tired of my shabby peeling knob! so i got a new one with a little bit of m tech thrown in!

Image
Image
Image
Image

and due to an unfortunate incided of a stone fly of the tire of a passing truck my windscreen had to be replaced i asked for a bronze tint and i was told i was getting one but a green tint turned up :( oh well it will do until the respray! the top tint is a nice addition though!

Image
Image

i also last week managed to win myself a pair of genuine yellow tint zkw fogs unfortunatly the passenger one is broke so i already ordered a new one from bmw! ouch they aint cheap is all i will say! but they should really suit the car!

Image

while i ordered the fog light i also decided to order in new bmw badges for the bbs's for when i get them refurbished in the evo style! along with new plastic fog light mounts considering how expensive the lights are!

other wise still to come in the new year will be

1.polybush and powder coat the rear disc arms!
2.stainless braided brake lines!
3.LSD!
4.Bc coilover's
5.oem yellow tinted headlights
6.galvanised front wishbone's
7.german spec wings without side repeaters
8.rear window louver

and many more parts over the year ahead!

well had a bit of fun the other night in the form of a puncture the first one for me! as much as i hated having to do it i put on the brand new evo style bbs i got a while back i never intended to fit this to the car but to keep as a spare for show! oh well it looks bloody good on her and its made up my mind about refurbing the set in this style!

Image

i also picked up today new badges for the bbs's when there refurbed along with new clips for the foglights and yesterday an AC Schnitzer grill badge came from the bay i have to say its good quality for the price and looks great on her but now i may fit some schnizer bits to make it legit ha!
