So Ive bought my third E30!! went for a 325i Cabby this time. Saw it on Ebay, called the fella and went to collect it.

Nice Spec...
58k on the clock
Cruise control, works a treat!
HLWW, not working yet!
Full Sports leather
Mint 15"BBS
Set of Bottle tops too!

Bad points,
drivers door rusting
2 holes in bootwell
immob not working
HLWW not working
Exhaust centre section blowing like a biatch!

Started to strip the interior out to inspect for corrosion. no corrosion under the carpets, though the rear carpet was wet- due to the roof leaking above the windows!

Central locking was not working, so done the old "black red wire" modification as described in the wiki, which worked a treat.

found a couple of holes under the vibration damper in the boot, shouldn't be too difficult to get then patched, will take them to a garage when I get time.

One problem I do have is that the roof doesn't seem to be lined up properly, the drivers window doesn't seal so leaks and the passenger door catches the roof trim and lets water in!! I have already tried to adjust the roof but to no avail, have found a couple of handy dealers videos regarding the fitting of the roof so when it warms up a bit I will set about twiddling with it again!!

Drippy drips...

Passenger window catching on roof...

Things to do...
- Fit new exhaust system, getting delivered this week hopefully.
- Get the two holes in the bootwell fixed,
- Adjust the roof to try and get it watertight!
- Try and get the immobiliser system working again,
- Enjoy some summer cruising before deciding whether to paint it or not!!
