Thought i'd post up a couple of pics of my E30 , i've had her for 4 years and loved every minute of it! She's was one of the cheapest cars i've ever bought as i hit on very lucky and she's definately THE most hassle free car i've ever had....

Finally brought D7UGE back home last night following a freshen up at work which started after my fuel tank leaked all over the forecourt when i brimmed her with petrol a few weeks back , final list of repairs carried out in the last 3 weeks are as follows:

New petrol tank
2 weld repairs to floor at tank mounting points (chopped and plated)
New fuel lines
New fuel rail pipes
New front to rear brake pipes
New rear brake pipes
New rear flexi hoses
New handbrake cables
New handbrake shoes
New rear discs and pads
New rear subframe bushes
New propshaft centre bearing + carrier
New battery
New exhaust heat shields + brackets
New 4 branch exhaust manifold.

After gettin through all that i thought she deserved a wee clean up , so i started a couple of days ago then stayed at the garage till after 10 last night giving her a proper goin over...

Machine polished her , then clay bar , then auto glym super resin polish , then went over her with the autoglym high definition hard wax to seal it all in and give her that extra bit shine.

Results are rather reflective , quite chuffed! :D

My bonnet now contains Blue skies , tree's , clouds and a telegraph pole! :norty:

You may also notice that the german plates have been binned since the last pictures were taken in favour of some cut down UK plates. This is due largly to a fine induced by a tw@t in a mobile speed camera van who noticed i wasn't speeding , but took a nice picture anyway and charged me £60 for the privilege! 8O 8O

Thought I'd update this as the car has went through some image changes in the last couple of years...

Tech 2 spoiler was ditched long ago in favour of standard 'is' lip...

Image

Then she was treated to some staggered borbet A's....

Image

Image

Image

Then I decided a Tech-1 spoiler would look kinda cool....

Shortly after that came another change of boots....

17"x 8" Compomotive MO's

Image

Which I then had refurbed in anthracite , which is pretty much as she sits now....

Cheers , I thought I'd go dark to go with the shadowline trim but I didn't want to go too dark , black wheels can look really lost in the arches and have very little presence.

Hey up Murphy , naa the cossie conversion has taken a back seat for now. Still got all the bits ready but other priorities have pushed it to the back of the queue (fiancé , child , house , mortgage , wedding plans.... etc.. etc.. ).
The car projects definitely made faster progress when I was young free and single. haha

Nissan engines are becoming a popular conversion now , that one in particular sounds like fun though. :-)
