Saw a tidy 2 door e30 today and decided to buy it, so now have my convertible and that to try and sort out.

Thought I'd share some photos of them both in there current state.

Theres before and after photos of the 2 door before and after washing it, before hand it was covered in shit and green algae.

Yes thats what Im hoping too.

Nice to have something standard and unmolested to be fair, I love my convertible, but do really appreciate this as a standard car too.

Not sold on the cab's wheels to be honest but it does look good aside from them. The 2 door looks like it should be a good little project. 8)

Your front splitter has seen better days on the vert matt.

What do you planned for the red e30

yes it was sprayed at a sprayshop by a mate of a mate only 6 months ago and has been peeling since.

don't really know what my plans are with the red one yet, might keep body standard, but do a engine conversion.

think i should maybe keep it standard as I've already done bits to my convertible.

what would your plans be with it if it was yours?

I would clean it up and just drive it. Your vert looks amazing so you already have a show/summer car. Your money is better spent on the vert and if you come across any car bits going cheap snap them up for the 2dr

haha I'll get some on soon, 2 patches on passenger door, one on bootlid, one hole in rear bit below number plate

Generally, not to bad and only surface, was going to get replacement boot and door in same colour to sort the rust there and rub down and plate the rear.

Its not drastic though, it really is quite clean for a 89er

I do love that vert. What's the suspension setup on that?

Long story.. It had a engine conversion from 1.8 to 2.5, but the original 1.8 40mm prosport lowering springs are on, which I obviously need to change for some 2.5 ones, currently, due to the fact the strength/flex of the springs is made for a 1.8 engine, it wouldn't surprise me at all, if its around 80mm drop.

I'm planning to get new boge shocks and 40mm springs all round when I have more money available.
