Lose that kidney grill, looks fookin horrible! otherwise it looks tidy.

Finally promoted to Regular! Only took 7 years...
seems to be a heavy concentration of e30s in stoke, like there is in brum
nice car,
+1 on loosing the grill though its not to my taste either, looks really tidy apart from that, i even like the wood trim think it goes well with the rest of the interior

Hi thanks for the info regarding my post, the genuine Baur has three press studs above the rear wheel arch holding the roof in place whilst my one piece roof has four. I had a look at your photos and could not quite make our how many press studs your roof has above the wheel arch, how many does it have? Another comparison I could make with your "non Baur" is how the roof attaches above the windscreen, mine attaches by a strip of flexible plastic attached to the roof which slips under an aluminium strip attached above the windscreen, another clue might be the number of roof hoops holding the roof up, mine has one. If you could compare my roof description to your "non Baur" roof then it may server to identify mine. If it is a west coast conversion do you have any information on west coast that I could research to try and find out the history of my car? When I figure out how to upload photos I will post some.
Cheers
Phil

@Timmzey&Rileyhugo;
Ãa also have some pictures of these conversions found in my photocollection; I will start with a well-known one, which was for sale together with a 320i with the same roof-style ;)

Another white one:

A blue one, with major rust, but shows the 4 studs:

And a red in a scrapyard.
