Took delivery two Fridays ago.Car is a '93 with a little over 100k miles.Came with a new top and interior,I had the timing belt/water pump changed and added the Hartges(thanks Tony),M3 springs and Bilsteins.
Huge following,especially in California.Prices are steadily rising on average to above average examples.E30s are definitely on their way to classic car status.sweep wrote:What the e30's status in the usa? good quality classic car? ..whats the general outlook? do they have a big following.

What's the differences between European spec e30's & Yank e30's?
I can see side markers I know they are pretty much standard in the states?.....
Is the light on the boot oem?

I think most US e30s came with a/c,no 15" weaves.etc.
The guy I run sub low with is from north carolina and has a 318...he paid 5 grand for it. E30s seem expensive as hell over there. His car has a welded sunroof and is rattle canned black. Rough.
