couldnt tell you, ask MadE30mike i got the car off him with them already on. as you can see in the pics though they are yellow if that helps lol! well they were when new. but you can also see in the pics that they are not collapsed or snapped or anything like that. and my rear bushed have been checked today and are also fine. yeah the suspension is pretty old but it isnt knackered. i have been considering getting an upgrade in the future anyway so i can get some adjustable dampers and stiffen it up a bit.

yeah, drove it today for the first time in a while because its been off the road since january and the suspension is very soft and boat like tbh.. definitely needs some stiffening up.

I recognise a ride like that....

Turned out most of the bushes were shot and some of the suspension needed some work doing to it according to the MOT, i'll try and dig out the MOT right now.

Mine sat pretty much like yours sits and handled just as you described.

and also according to my MOT today there was no issues with bushes and suspension. just the ABS light being on and a tiny bit of welding needs doing under the fuse box in the engine bay as there are a couple of tiny holes..

Listen to the advice snd suggestions of the people on here. Some may come across as a$$holes but they definitely know there sh1t .

Spend some money on leather restorer and get those seats looking like new. I used a kit from gliptones and it worked a treat .

Good luck and keep the pics coming

This is what mine came back as being the main problem.

Similar stance and handling characteristics as yours.
Springs and coils were no longer fit for purposes, as were many bushes, anti roll bars were damaged, rear tyres had inner wear possibly due to a collapse of something.

Worth inspecting all those areas.

I'm not in any way saying that yours has the same problem as mine, but just want to share as I've has a similar situation.

This is what happens to E30s, these cars can look very good on the outside but can hide so much beneath.

Luke, you rang, I was in Mexico so I didnt answer or you would have had to sell your car to foot the bill. Back now anyway, if you still need me, give me a shout or message etc...

Also, definately worth looking at some other springs, even if its just to rule out your issue, if it continues, you'll know its not the springs like people are suggesting, and you can switch back with that ruled out.

Make sure you come over next saturday for the meet, I want to slate your tyres

Firstly i changed my rear lights to these new ones with red indicators. i think it looks loads better without the orange indicators and my old lights were in poor condition anyway with loads of tiny cracks all over the lenses.

Heres a pic with one changed and one standard
Image

And with both fitted.

Now i decided to change my headlights to my smoked lights from Rav

Before
Image

after, with chrome grill still

and then decided to paint all the grill and headlight surrounds satin black. the headlight surrounds are US spec ones with the cutouts above the lights

Very nice, I have the same going on with the front as yours but with the chrome grill.

Height looks good, better with the 15's.

How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.
