Here's my 1990 Prefacelift 325i cabby in alpine white II. It's an auto, blue leather, blue roof and currently sporting a black hardtop, jimmy hill chin and staggered alpinas wheels. Last action was fitting eibach springs - the drop looks good, feels good but I can't get my (low) trolley jack under the sides now !

Next upgrade will be retrimmed leather and I'm thinking of putting a set of Racing Dynamics 16s on.

I've got them sitting about so want to try them. I've got a real soft spot for them, like the early 90s look of the dish and the 5 spokes. If they don't look good I'll give a set of Hartges a try. May as well use them whilst they are appreciating.... winkeye

Still searching for a RD steering wheel though.

Topblag, you need to buy a costco trolley jack mate, sell some of those Hartge morsels you have stashed to me to fund it :)

Back on topic, lovely car 8)
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

I've got the aluminium racing jack from Costco. Still not low enough. The red steel jack they are selling now is higher than the aluminium one IIRC. Good suggestion though.

Nothing Hartge for sale at the moment but I think I'll be selling a set of the wheels soon though. I'll give you the asking price tomorrow, when you're sitting down.....

We don't use smelling salts up here mate, the smell of single malt whisky is generally enough to bring any Scotsman back to consciousness.....

The cars done 120k so it's had a fair use - it's the original interior and original roof. Not bad for 22 years old. :)

I have a set of those already, I want a steering wheel 8)

I have the red steel one, it got under my VERY low 320i no probs, it got straight under the front chassis rails with 3/4" to spare!

There is loads of Design A's for sale at the minute, what the hell is going on? lol

I'm keeping it real, I'm driving an early 90s car, I'm listening to 1991-1995 House tapes. Either Pete Tong from a Friday night or my mate's mix tapes with stuff he was playing from his club night, which I generally drove an Alpine White 320i SE 2 door to.

Pics to follow, thankfully only of the car. :o:

Managed 90 mins today out and about with the roof down. Got to about 16 degress !!! I was 5 mns from home when the rain came on and thankfully I was static.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

I'm picking up James then onto Boyds. I've no idea the route, Sat Nav will guide me !

I'm not due to bring anything for you am I Peter ? It wouldn't be the first time I've forgot something.

I like the colour coded look - that's how it came out of ze factory AFAIK.

Underneath the paint there is minty fresh chrome. it looks like new.

Here's some more from the Glamis meet at the weekend.

Car has just had a repainted bonnet, bootlid and front bumper. Next up for the car will be a replacement fabric roof and recoloured leather.

Thanks to Sanchez for the pics.
