i like it ...dont worry about others pulling the looks or mods to bits on here...its just like that on this forum...if you are happy with it then thats what matters .. as for numbers >>>

open the passenger side door...look for a plate in the door check in between the hinges..it should have Baur stamped on it and a number ...hope this helps


Baurs are generally not well thought of on this forum ...most of the zoners who slate them have never owned or driven a baur. If they had then they wouldnt dislike them so much.

Yes they may not look as slick or cool as the bmw convertible but they drive and handle much much better and are a lot lighter than any of the other E30 variants.

They are becoming very rare cars and are definitely becoming a sort after model, all be it slowly.

I like them because they are quirky and different as well as being very nice to own and drive , especially the very rare 325 version.

good luck with your car and its nice to see another baur on the road.

btw what model is yours ...a 325???

the first e30 i ever went in was a white 323i buer with hounds tooth interior. it was my mums when i was about 10 or maby younger and i loved it. i was gutted when she sold it but she bought a black 528i e28 after that!

tech 1 kit really suites this car mate, would look very cool without the spoiler, eyebrows and arch extentions

Thanks guys taking it all on board, walrus1968 thanks for the info always thought it would be under the bonnet somewhere on strut member and mine was missing but thanks to you looked where you told me to do so over the moon here is the I.D BMW 316 1987 BAUR B47250-13 yeah she is only a baby 316 M10 engine i think with webber conversion. As for interior pictures not in a good state took the back seats out for time been slight leak as soon as get them back in will take pictures, cheers guys
