Wowzers you are going to need a sump guard! or a lot of spare sumps!

Dude, make sure you turn caps off next time 8)

What are the overall plans or is it a drifter like your mate has?
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

been really busy today and managed between my brother sorry i didnt get pics but it was just heck tick
getting the diff of was easy enough my brother then welded up the teath and plated the middle up and welded that too just to make sure , then filled up with oil and put back on ( nightmare ) to do due to bolts on the diff carrier not linning up for some reason so ended up fitting new ones for good measure !
end result been 100% locked diff all is good so far back end is hard to keep in line now only have to change gear hard and its out downside loads off wheels skip but thats to be expected from a welded diff i no i could have bought a lsd but hey hoo i have no money and wanted a cheap skidder hence the weld !

You can use your M40 gear box and everything backwards but you will need M42 engine and ancilliaries and exhaust.

Stay away from E36 M42/M44 stuff as E30 M42 parts bolt straight in obviously 8)
