I never got round to posting the chip install up so heres a few pics, and ANT if you are reading this the chip is amazing and it pulls so much harder now, i also got the CO set correctly today and its even better

Thanks Ant
Ive had lots of threads running in the tech section recently and sorting various bits out so heres a few pics. Sorted out my rain leak
Stripped the car and in the process repaired all the little niggles, broken bulbs, screws missing etc etc . . . So thats a nice load off my mind and the dials can now be seen at night which is always a bonus

So set about sorting the leaks out, one was coming in from the Wiring loom grommet and the other from the foam seal around the blower motor. The blower motor got a good dry off and some silicone and now is water tight and the carpet was out in the sun for 3 days and is nice and dry too
I saw the grommet and it looked like this . . .

Which got me worried cos i thought it might have all gone a bit crunchy :/ but once i got it sanded down a bit it turned out to be very little . . .

So rubbed it back to metal and sprayed over it, then once dry, refitted the grommet with silicone as to achieve a tight seal
So no wet carpets any more, and everything is in working condition
Put the car all back together after giving the carpet a deep clean and all is well, although putting a carpet back in is defo not a one man job, JESUS CHRIST!!!
So yeh thats where im up to at the moment, still needs lowering and a slip diff then il be content for a month or too
but next on the list is to sort out this suspect looking selector bush :s . .

More soon . . . .
Thanks

Ant supplied the chip for 120 and i fitted it to my current ecu so no cost there. Well worth it , pulls all through the rev range and really torquey mid range
Bit expensive for a chip but noone else does them for old high comp's.
really happy with the condition of the floor tho

What camp site was you at in le mans? I saw a white e30 then was there with a 200sx that was next the pitch next to us. Also we was sitting opposite where you was! I got a nice pic of mcnish's crash in mid air.
Have you got around to getting it new suspension yet, or decided what route you'll be taking with it?
