Don't tint them that dark - a subtle tint is enough imo. And if you use HIDs and not normal bulbs you shouldnt see any difference in light output.

The tint you've done in photoshop is definitely too dark. I have mine smoked and am very happy with them though.

I have HID's so not worried about that, and I am looking at flyeyes tint at the moment.

my mate used LaminX and his light's have been dulled right down, with the flyeye in mine i'd say the beam is not as long as it was but there is still far more light through them than the LaminX :) :D

you may want to address the issues with the front indicator lenses while your thinking of what else to do. OEM and orange :thumb:

Tint them if you like, but do it the proper way, like the proper smoked Hellas, not by sticking shite to the lenses.

Personally I think the front grille and lights define the e30 shape which is why I've swapped back from smoked Hellas to standards, and why I don't like black kidneys any more either.
cheers,

the vote should read 11 tinted - 12 not tinted at this point but my laptop is a pric and i didnt see that it had marked the wrong box :x

anyway, my '2 pence worth' is its your car and if you think it looks good then do it. i will be doing mine the same (tinted) but... may i suggest you do your fog light lenses aswel, that would look kool and suit your car 8)

also this ''council'' shit is just utter crap! a judgemental and un called fro stereotype if you ask me, people who refer to this do my nut right in :x .

To be honest I think the crosshairs look terrible, I've seen many E30's with the crosshairs and you can blatently see them in the lense (+) :D and also if your looking at the wrong angle the lights don't look tinted at all!

I've got lamin-x subtle smoke film on my headlights and run HIDs. Easily enough light to see with and I feel a bit better that I've lowered the light output a bit because I'm sure it's pretty painful for oncoming traffic!

An added bonus is it supposedly protects the lenses from getting cracked by stones...
