Finally got round to fitting my VDO gauges. Fairly straight forward, but you need to eat lots of carrots before trying to thread wires through the bulkhead (or my eyes are getting worse). The biggest pain was the oil switch - what a p1sser! tight as a Jew in a Banking crisis.
Anyway, all sorted, oil pressure is just above 1 bar at hot idle, all seems Ok there.

The mount was supplied by parker performance, mine is leather covered, nice item and easy to fit. All the wires you need are in the general area around the ashtray. I got the gauges from Tweeks aswell as the oil pressure sender. They do 2 types, 0-5 BAR and 0-10 BAR, remember you need to match up with your particular gauge.

Got some black leather double-stitched grab handles from Ebay Germany, loads better than the plastic ones. Sorry for the crap pic!

Shagging blind has been stripped down, cleaned, sprayed dark grey to contrast the silver leather and new Blaupunkt speakers fitted. I know, I know...I would not have fitted 6x9's by choice, the previous owner had cut the metal, so thought I may aswell use the space.

And finally some illuminated shots - the little "condom" covers for the VDO bulbs match really well, and the vision quality is excellent day or night. Which is more than you can say for my camera skills.

Nice job. I have that radio :D matches the dash well I think, especially the illumination.
