as above. intake built by yours truly, what u cant see is the 3 inch air feed thats currently disconnected and laying under the intake. the other end of that is in the full beam lamp hole so in the time it takes me to post this thread i could have it swapped from an induction kit as pictured to a full on cold air/ram air intake with the filter actually in the full beam recess. its too dark and the angles arent favouring it in the pics below but thats how i had it setup when i took those exterior pics. makes a world of difference power wise with it like that lol

after nothing more than a wash and bit of tyre shine:

im currently toying with the idea of making a few of these intakes and putting them up for sale. currently im running no ICV whatsoever and cold start idle is controlled by a locking choke cable to the throttle body. this allows me to mount the AFM on the silicone elbow coming off the TB and do away with the ICV pipework for a short and resistance free path from the AFM to the TB. filter is a pipercross triple density foam filter with no internal cage or anything as its meant for large ram pipes on large ITB/Carb setups.. it flows sufficiently enough to not cave in under the intake vacuum even with my 7000rpm chip and the engine at full pelt.

lol yea.. was bored one day and did that with some caliper paint. did the retaining clips on the rear calipers red also. didnt want to go overboard and do the full caliper, havent done the fronts yet tho. also have a wee "tow" sticker in red next to the ring. 318i badge is just for kicks.

Nicest colour imo :D Lovely car.

What drop do you have got? Any photos of the interior? Looks llike the offside wing is new or maybe its the door? Really hard to match the colour, I don't want to replace any of the parts on mine but not sure how long I can get away with it

shes a cannibal.. even most other 325i/sports around these parts get shown the rear lol

@ tedswagon, bonnet has been sprayed before, shade is ever so slightly off. its lowered on jamex 60mm front/55mm rear springs to keep the saggy bottom look at bay.

havent got alot of current interior pics because the cars still a work in progress. i ditched the brown comfort seats for some E36 M3 half leathers i got out of an E36 i sold and bought back to break for parts also retrofitted backlit late E36 needles and fit chrome bezels in the cluster, UUC motorwerks weighted knob (Z3 M coupe stick is a bit notchy but uber short throw). car has also been swapped from auto to manual which died then to manual from a 325 sport with 3k more miles than on mine. no idea how much was on the first manual that went in. it only lasted about 1000 miles lol

heres a bunch of randoms, need to get it cleaned up and take proper pics. also have a roller blind rear shelf to go in but im wanting to dye it black first (its blue.. yuck). hoping to get black carpet in there and black door cards, rear seats, etc.

not mad on tech 2 kits tbh. see so many sports or sport reps running around. plus i dont think the kit would suit bronzit.

forgot to mention its hard to tell in the pic of the rear but the tail lights have had the orange bits sprayed over with E-tech red lense tins. still lights up amber but takes the worst of the orange look off it.

already put on a brand new 318is front splitter some months ago, hard to see in the pics because its black. only other plans for the exterior is to ditch the small spoiler and get a tech 1 peice but its proving hard to get hold of lol

Nice seats! How did you fit? Drilling holes through the floor or adaptor plates?

plates.. the underside is mint and rust free so i didnt fancy holes in the floor lol

seats dont budge on the plates and the plates are 8mm thick steel. also the seatbelt mounts at the bottom were fun to figure out. had to ditch the wee rails the bottom of the belt goes on as the seat wouldnt slide back with them still in place.

Exactly the same plan as I've got then :)

Just awaiting the plates and need to buy some spare seatbelt mounts to shorten :D

i pussed out and mounted the belt loop around one of the legs of the seat. seems to do the job but getting in and out of the back is even more fun since the belt moves forward with the seat now.. lucky im never getting in the back other than to clean it lol

half tempted to rip most of the interior out but not sure if the weight saving would actually make a noticable difference. would be nice to get it stripped out and caged up.

heres a vid of a car i found on youtube bearing a striking resemblance to my own winkeye
