not seen anything about that ? isn't ladybower near the snake pass?

me thinks the car park at the very top of snake pass/holme moss would be a good meeting place,
Just my humble opinion but I think the car park opposite the Ladybower Reservior is big enough and it has refreshments. (mmmmm Coffee).

Mate, like me, you don't like thrashing your cars but they've got to look perfect. It makes me feel loads better when Paul tells me you've got to thrash the s14 and they love you for it. Just looked after it with regular oil changes.
Only thing is mate if your OCD is anything like mine you'll want to strip it and replace all the visible parts!

I had the same talk with Steve and we both said where do you draw the line? Only way to do it is if you had a garage like that bonkers bloke that has them in a big heated garage and a bloke to look after them
I think Paul (Metcalf Motorsport) is getting bored of me, I've got to be the most labour intensive customer. When my car has been on the ramps i've noticed a few stone chips and a couple of silicone pits in the paint so thought about a front end paint job plus skirts off to make sure there's no rust and he just looks at me as if he wants to bury the ratchet in my head.
It's good really because if he was a money grabber and had no interest in the customer he would do everything I've talked about and cost me another 2 or 3 grand.

Very nice Kieran,

It will look spot on with 16" BBSs. No need to worry about depreciation with that! I'm sure Pete will keep it running spot on. He's due to sort my Motorsport cab out shortly. Its great there are people out there who know these cars inside out. A nice BMW collection you are gathering there - E34 M5 next i'd say.

Sorry to hijack slightly - davpkav - was it you I met a couple of weeks ago down at Petes? I've got the macau early Motorsport cab.

I could be tempted by a Yorkshire meet - I was out at ladybower last weekend for a top down cruise.

Quick update -

I managed to bag 2 front seats from another M3, I was up this morning at 5 am and was heading towards Newcastle at 5.30 8)

Seats picked up and old ones removed -

Great opportunity to give it a good hoover :o:

What do we reckon :?:

The Recaro SRD's are great seats but my size doesn't make it comfortable :(

However, I am working on getting the runners that will dip down like the seats above - If anyone has any suggestions about doing this then please let me know

Next job on the list is the wheels, as soon as they land here they are off to get furbed, hopefully should be on by the end of the week :)

Glad you're changing the wheels.

Have you considerd some cheeky spacers to help fill the arches a bit. The 7.5Js can look a bit lost in there.

Cheeky spacers? They must be 20mm or more! Looks good with the rideheight though.

Hi Matt,

Yes it was me. The car looks very different now thanks to a new leather interior, a bit of paint and a 'detailing'. Off to Super Car Sunday tomorrow.

Rich, I'm liking that idea, tell me more 8)

Chris, they match, I've only seen the rears in bright sunshine and yours were shaded in the garage.

Cheers Chris

10-20mm too low I reckon.

Apart from that it looks good. I hated the orginal wheels, so much I thought I better not comment till now. :)
