its the replacement ones you get if you order a new one :)

brake fluid caps are different too and have a symbol on, same with headlight switches. it must be to do with the fact that these days people are really thick??? :D :D

Patina, is kinda like wear your age with pride. Clean is good, but if you go too far you go all new car without leaving that hint of 18 years and 179,000 miles. 'Aging' is a BMW option you can't buy at the showroom. It's sorta subtle.

Cheers Loz

nice car carl. i'm looking forward to seeing it in the flesh (Sunday on Portsdown Hill perhaps?).
if your happy with the car and the price you paid for it, then that's what matters, so very pleased for you. :)
they are brilliant little cars, i've had two black ones and a white one <<<< (now sold)

BTW: i have all the bits you need, pop round anytime, just call me.

i have indeed mate, il edit that post above, couldnt remember whta the wheel chock was called

so the boot now has...

100% complete tool kit
1st aid kit
triangle with case
wheel jack
wheel spanner
wheel chock
bbs cap tool
towing eye
plastic boot tidy tray thing
spare wheel

is there anything else ?

one thing i did put in there too from wilkinsons, is a nice big RAC lamp/torch, with big battery for a cheap as chips £4 8O,a highly recomended bargain and good addition to the boot, it sits nicely in the tidy and looks great !

good man ollie, felix did mention the boot trimm to me when i bought the car thinking about it, my boot lid is absoloutly mint underneath, so this trim to cover it up will be a nice touch, got the part number from that thread so il ask on friday how much a new one is as i popped in my local dealer today and ordered a couple of alarm key fob cases to replace mine, which 1 is broke, and the other a bit battered, so that will be a nice touch, and some new pedal rubbers

both have now been added to the list  (feel free anyone reading this to pm me if you can help)

im really liking the fact this car just needs finishing touches and no major work :D

You know that only cars that came with rear discs have the wheel chock? So if you have one in your car it will be unoriginal!

ISes should have one though.

Hi Carl,

Checked with the garage that did the last oil change.

They have confirmed the oil they used was:

. Shell Helex 10w 40 Semi-synthetic.

Cheers.

Loz

P.S: sent PM not sure you got it, hence post.

i got it , thanks loz !

a little update....

2 new falkens on the rear now, and but the bf goodrich on the front

..as i had the wheel of (front arch),. i decided to remove the plastic arch liner, and other plastic bits under the front arch, and mud flap, and gave it all a good clean and power jet washed n got rid of any crap, and it all looked good, i then decided to waxoyl it all why it was all 100% clean, so i set about that with the rain just about holding off, then started loosing light, then rained , and i ended up under a plastic sheet 8O 8O with a torch, to get it all finished, and just about did, il inspect it tomorrow and finish any bits, but what a fiasco !! , at least 1 arch is done now , ready for the winter months

also clened the k&n air filter and also bought 2 new wiper blades

the boot lining is £48 at snows bmw new, so il get one somewhen

Tech I, SE sill covers and iS lip - it's the way forward, and what my car will be getting in due course.

Tech II is just gash without the whole kit IMO.
