Nice work done overthere.
And the green is a colour you have to love, just like you told... But, the more you see it (certainly outside when the weather is good), the more you love...

We have a neongrÃan cab (the design edition) as well, and it's just a quite rare cab...

Now that is nice!
Giving me ideas for wheels, thank you...
Did not realise that Design Edition cabbies were made in LHD,I was under the impression that they were UK market only!
Any idea how many blue/green were made/sold?
I understand that UK market only sold about 50 green, but 'over 200' blue....

Those wheels are stock ;)

Original BMW info:
318i "Design-Edition" ab April 1991:
- Lackierung Sonderfarben + farblich abgestimmte Sitze, TÃarverkleidungen
a) neonblau-metallic 262/0464
b) neongrÃan-metallic 255/0463
318i Design Edition as from April 1991:
- special color + matched seats and doorcards
a) Neon blue (262 produced)
b) Neon green (255 produced)

But I guess that this only counts for the LHD.

this is looking great some really hard work gone into this :D

I like the neon editions and it's good to see a cabby resto/project that doesn't have a tech2 kit involved :D

I have owned both the blue and green versions, the blue is nice but the green when polished is really good (looks shite when dirty)

I am looking for another cab for an M52 project and hope to get my hands on a neon :D

We made an underdash cover like this for the 'folly' as well, but this time Calamity chose bright green thread...

Glad everyone likes the gaiters and thanks for the positive comments and the picture. :thumb:

We hadn't made any like that with double stitching before. I'm really satisfied to see them in the car. It was supposed to be a sort of Alpina type colour style but the cue was really taken from the existing interior. Daimlerman sent me a cloth sample of the seat and (eventually) we found some thread that was a good match. We have finally made an M-Style sample now too.

Re the 323i cam - wasn't it the E21 stick that was higher lift?
