Aerial motor goes behind the side carpet trim in the boot, then the wires went throught the parcel shelf on mine, down the rear seat base and under the carpet!

You could have threaded them behind the back seats in the corner, that would have been easier

If you Got "Haters",Then your doing something Right!

Rav parcel shelf just seemed the best and easiest place, and it meant I could thread it in the sam eplace as teh speaker cables!
And thanks dezzy, test booked for 19th Novemeber! Fingers crossed!

I disagree with the majority here. I think it looks spot on as it is, high on bottletops.
Looks like somthing from a BMW forecourt in 1986. Not many left looking like that.

Yeah, know what you mean. It's a very classic look, especially in that colour. I like it.SUMPCRACKER wrote:I disagree with the majority here. I think it looks spot on as it is, high on bottletops.

I too only just realised the other day how young you are Ollie. Well done with your car. It would be a credit to anyone. Now get that test done so you can enjoy the fruits of your labours! ;)

Ollie,
I think you love your chromie as much as I love mine, dont listen to them mate. Like sumpcracker said, it looks the best as BMW intended it to look... High and proud..
For my own chromie im leaving it on the bottle tops, im not going to make any visual changes whatsoever not even tinting the windows, its gotta be like grandmas car. It will be getting double the HP via nice fresh 2.7 soon, and im even toying with the idea of adjustable suspension, so if I do want to take it for a blast I can wind it down a bit but wind it back up when its on cruiser duty...
I dont know about you but when I am driving my chromie and people look and smile at the lovley mint old car I feel great.

Thanks. I am very proud of the turd.
And I'm not sure on suspension, as sometimes I look at it and think f*** that sits high, but then others I think, But I like it like that.
BTW your car is truley stunnning how it is! Minty fresh.

Yup minty mint fresh Ollie, Not one single piece of rust on it anywhere at all. The beauty of living in such a hot place. My plans are, build up the new motor, retrim the comfort seats, respray and then it should be brand spanking new again...
All in time however. Should have the motor done by mid next year I hope.
