Its either f**ked and gonna cost you 6k to get it near a good one or someone is retarded and sold you a bargain!!!

Ill peg for the early one.

If youve got a bargain then its good but when you can get a f**ked s14 engine for a grand why would a running car be 1800 quid

They average 8k quid now here in the US. He didn't know what he had. I used KBB aka kelly blue book.

It runs and the drives it's so far rust free, nervous about the cowl panel.

Here are a few more.

As Greg knows I am picking up one as well but we are both doing S52, (not positive on Gregs) engine swaps, so he and I really picked it up for the rolling shells. Great score btw....................

That tag was in the trunk, that's not what I paid for it. I truly only paid $3500 usd. Insane. Rollback might be able to pick up today.

Those leathers are factory too, I was very surprised

Not bad for the price!

Has someone nicked the orginal steering wheel an left you with a Tech1 sport wheel or were they made with them too?? May seem a stupid question!?

260,000 or 280,000 miles, price does go down with the more miles, same car with under 50,000 would have probably fetched over 10times that price, maybe more.

Nice motor tho, would love to own a ///M3

It was 260 on the heart. It's had two inspection I and II's and is due for another I here shortly. But I will probably do that.

I needs a back can on the exhaust, as it has a new center section. The paint is not nearly as good as I hoped but hell I'll live with it a few years and get it redone in a few years. My first concern is to yank the tired suspension out and add new dampners and springs.

I have a Bilstein J stock setup in my other car that I plan on using. I also want to add new engine and transmission mounts as these appear weak. It also needs an alternator bushing as it is a poly mount and is worn out. But other than that after plugs yesterday I started much easier and runs smoother.

Plugs are intended to be at .24" gap and they wer at .58" gap, wonder why it ran like ass? :P

Oh as mentioned the Tech I wheel is the only wheel we got till the airbag wheel.

Sorry if I'm asking a silly question but did US spec M3s have the dogleg gearbox or was it the standard H-pattern box as fitted to other E30s?

Looks like you got a lot of car for not a lot of cash - good going.

it was 3 years ago, when things were a bit more sensible, but still a bit of a bargain tbh.

the white one looks nice and straight, was it missing those parts when you bought it? the marker on the windows sould suggest a salvage or auction purchase?
cheers,

harry

It was a theft recovery, Clean title non salvage purchased it from original owner. Was missing lights that were DEPO junk he gave me the stock stuff that was in the garage, oh yeah US Spec sealed beams. Gave em to a buddy and put DE with 4.3K HID's so I could see at night.

Rear bumper was off for reinstallation of exhaust after engine was installed. Basically came minus a upper section and management and seat and lights. I had all the parts so I had it swapped to a know good engine and interior swap in less tahn a week.

My red one is now my Driver Events car till my early Eta Sport is done. It's getting a RMS supercharger added at the end of the month. to it's S52.
