right, so while the engine has been apart, iv been cleaning bits up and sprayed a thew that were complety shot

promblem is i can't make my mind up on leaving the the hole of the rocker cover sliver or some bits in black, any thoughts, wich looks better :D cheers

just spent ages cleaning it, took a thew bits off, and gave it loads of coats, still got the other half to go yet winkeye

yer thats what i thought, when i started spraying, was quite a good match i think really, and hasn't really cost that much to

spook- yer i did the same, 3 for the price of 2, that autoglym wheel cleaner is good stuff to, works really well on bbs's

alex- mm i would say a thew hours, gave it a good coat of engine & machine cleaner, left it for a while, 15-20 mins, then came back to it with some wire wool and some fine wet and dry, did start to get fed up with it after a while, so just kept leaving it and comming back to it,

wooo, thats a while, i probley would of got well fed up after an hour winkeye mind you it is nice to see the diffrence, the bit that i would say took the longest was cleaning the body work around the engine its self, getting it to all the gaps and that

Looks nice under there now, i'd replace the washer bottle, freely available from the dealers, not too expensive either, will finish it off nicely :D :D

thanks you :thumb:, was thinking of that, did try and give it a good clean up, but wasn't making much diffrence, might get my brother to order me 1 up then if u can still pick them up from the dealers :D
