Tim, Lee, it's a 3ltr, like the coupe's they were avaliable as both.

I didnt realise it was such a low number.
I looked at an early 3lt in cosmic black a few years ago.. was about to buy it pending an e30 m3, went for a second look when it was a lovely hot day and noticed a very suspect front end

The 3.2's have diff rocker covers and the front of the head is covered with bizarre shaped alloy bits lol

420 of the saloon 3.0 M3 they did make Evo ones and not sure on how many of them was made.

I love the car, and its done everything I want it to. Just hope it does it for another 4 years
