Interesting place for a photoshoot. That shot is by far the best! Some suffer from incorrect focussing, which is a shame!
You're right :o: I'm using a Canon 400D and in bad light conditions he suffers a bit in autofocus modus, some photo's are taken with manual focussing wich isn't ideal to. :o:
Rosc0PColtrane wrote: The motion shot over the drivers shoulder: Try retaking it with the car rolling at about 2-5mph, no more than 10. It should eliminate the 'wiggle' in the light trails.
Thanks for the tip! I will retry this one of these days!

Remarks: There is still room for improvement. I would like to change the angle between the camera and the horizon... Anyone a proposition?

Do not crash it like that as you could end up with an L shaped hole in your skull

Get some hefty roll cage wadding around it, if it has to stay.

Since the mount looks to be an 'L' shaped piece of metal I would just bend the part that the camera mount is fixed to up or down to adjust the aim. Job done :D

I'd be very nervous of how far out that mount sticks, I wouldn't want it sticking into my neck. I lashed up a similar setup a little while ago:

Not a stupid remark i must say.... :)

Will do that! I have been thinking about cutting it a bit shorter to.

For the record: it's not for daily use, In 2min I can put it on/off the chair. :D

Thanks for the thinking, but I want a solution where I can change the angle over and over again, something that is easy to use. :D

(Changing the agle of the entire seat isn't a solution :o: :P )

Cut it as short as possible, you would be amased at how far you body will move in a rollover.

Sadly, when drifting with your camera mount on, this is the probably the biggest chance of you crashing into something. Even with padding it out, i'd still be slightly sceptical unless wearing a helmet.

Can you not relocate it to the rear parcel shelf or the dashboard somehow?

Like u can make up from the last post, I've made the flyest update 'till now...

LSD S4.27 :teehee:

Image

Image

Mounted since this weekend. (FULL CREDITS for Belgian thezone members Asserti & Soundstorm) :notworthy:

In +- 3hours the job was finished.

I haven't been able yet to do some tests in pooring rain, but the results in moistly road are already good. The 'normal' drifts are a bit faster, with bit less angle and the car is a little bit less able to get in unbalance in the usual way.

But.... clutchdump :o: now rocks ... bends are taken sideways from begin 'till end.... 8)

Sprint results are less impressive as espected. I hoped to be a little bit faster with the shorter 4.27 diff compared with the normal 4.10 diff. :(

I have measured sprinting results before and after with a Racelogic Performance box. (Thanks for using gTa (member aw-forum))

Sprints have taken place in same weather conditions / no passengers / gas tank full. Results in Km/h - seconds

4.10:
0-60 03.6
0-100 08.6
60-90 03.4
90-120 04.6

4.27:
0-60 03.6
0-100 08.6
60-90 03.5
90-120 04.6

Exact the same 8O except for the 60-90 there is the 4.10 even a bit faster :( (I suppose 90km/h isn't possible in 2nd gear with 4.27)

In 5th gear:

4.10:
60-90 09.3
90-120 10.6

4.27:
60-90 09.1
90-120 10.1

And now let it rain please. :D

Lightnigs are 100% real 8) , but pictures have been photoshopped a bit to have some contrast/color improvement. :o: :D

Took me about 100 try-outs untill I had 3 shots with my car and a lightning on. :D
