All sytner converted cars retained their base car id on the V5.

C1 2.3's will be 323i's

C2 2.7's will be 325i's

B10 3.5's will be 535i's etc

What do you mean normal 323i?

An alpina 323i or a BMW 323i?

I did not know you could buy a 323 e30 that was not an Alpina.

My C2 started life as an 323i , then was converted to a C2 2.5. The log book still shows it as a 323i but with the correct engine size. When I needed some bits from Alpina my BMW dealership had to comfirm it was a verified conversion and it's recorded against my VIN with BMW ( North Oxford contacted Synther and it is held at Brackley I was told ).

Chances are likely that white grill is an authentic Sytner appendage. In fact, that car looks pretty original, bar the make-do mish mash of wheels. I'm impressed it still has the snow plough.

I had about 5 offers for the snowplough, rejecting them all though unless i dont get any interest in car on pistonheads. I am sure grill is original when you look at it its deifnately not just slapped on paint.

Well i think its the original centre grill anyway, anybody noticed that there are no vents in it, its solid plastic in the middle, these were fitted to all early cars i think, later centre grills and any new ones available now are open in the middle......................

I really dont know tbh, i not sure what i looking at rot wise. I was told by previous owner it needs work underneath, two rear arches have an average amount of rot at one end, but the rest of it is in surprising condition, Front looks stonking.

In fairness the other one has Alpina wheels, Alpina steering wheel, a black leather sport interior, an MOT, and you could drive it home!

Are you saying thats worth nothing 8O
