hi Eko, yeah a front pic would be great as im contemplating getting one opposed to Sparco or Weichers one as it seems Evo are out of stock at the moment and their is a back order.eko wrote:I have a Fritz rear one fitted but im assuming you want a pic of the front one?
also for £188.00 posted it sounds reasonable?!

£188 for a strut brace????
Utter robbery
A £50 sparco single tube one does all the work you'll ever need, listed as M3 strut brace often

it is really well made. i can't fault it and i'm well fussy.
i don't have the front one on my e30 as i still have the one that came with my hartge h26 many moons ago.
olly and rich both do tho and they seem fine
i do have the rear one and i have a front one on my e28 (very needed on an e28!!)
i got them at cost and both were over a hundred pounds! the e28 was closer to 2!
But they look good, fit and are all ally. nicely welded. made locally in the uk and work well.
Blimey! i sound like i am in an office now

I can't imagine Fritz make strut braces. That looks like an eibach one with a big mark up . I can supply you a mint eibach brace for £80 inc recorded delivery
That e30 looks ace! Don't think ive seen a chromie s50 before. Im surprised you guys havent wacked on a fritzs bits logo on the brace though.

There are no tech 2 wheels here atm. I've just had a look.
The fritz strut brace is definatly not an eibach item.
Well unless they are now a 1 bloke outfit in devon

ouch !!! £148 + vat (that is robbery) for some aluminium... erm i dont think so, i can get the exact same brace from ebay for £30
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BMW-E30-Strut-Str ... 286.c0.m14
i think i will spend my hard earned money on somthing that will actually work i.e sparco steel, or for an extra £100 Eibach ARB's that will be one of the decent sus mods

i wouldnt say that they were the same
an ebay strut brace identical to a custom made strut brace made by a bmw specialist
Thickness of material, quality of material, etc could be different between the two and the pictures on ebay arent always the items you're sent. I can see what you guys mean though before you kick off.

well thats fair enough guys, i think its reasonable and if it does the job and does it well im not gonna complain. i'll be getting the ARBs too anyway.
as the saying goes "if your gonna do a job, do it properly" to my knowledge Fritz have done many jobs and all have been done properly.
you have to remember that items like Strut Braces are not one piece items, and all of which have to be welded together, plus do you know how many different grades and series there are of aluminium? each has different costs for the material as they all have different properties!
i would not trust a £30 ebay item in fact i dont trust ebay full stop, especially with items for my car.
