I work at a honda garage over here . don't mind working onthem to make a living but will never own one. love german cars

no mods yet would like to get other areas done first. I just got the car last may. she needs a new interior. well just seats. But I heard you can install M3 cams . Would like to something like that and do headers and custom exhaust. I guess you could also add vanos too. Which I've thought about .

VANOS might make the car not so revvy, not sure. I prefer to keep it simple tho, ive heard theyre expensive when they break. What exhaust manifold is in there? Cause the guys who made mine had to fabricate one themselves. Then again your cars LHD so wont have the steering rack in the way of the manifold maybe...

e36 manifold comes really close to the sub frame but a few tweaks of the down pipe and you have clearance

Hmm wondered why mines a completely custom build. If you look at my manifold its clear it was a fabrication cause its splits out into 4 and 2 cylinders. It makes a dammn interesting sound tho!

Wil,
Your car sounds nice! Just not a noise that should be coming from an E30!

Heres a pic of the manifold, yeah Dave its certainly interesting

Karan says its a bit like an Air Cooled 911, peeps stop and stare at it cause they dont expect the sound to be coming from an E30. Ive heard nothing else quite like it tho!

the m20 trans doesn't line. you'll have to use e36 trans 6 or 4 cylinder. I've got the m44 trans in mine. Well it didn't line up with my engine . LOOKS really good though. Makes such a huge diference

the m20 fits.. you have to modify the shift lever tho to make up for the angle created.. you can then use the standard prop
