Not mine, but a good friend. Some of you may know the owner Andrew (Tudor) he has a very nice red convertible who can't seem to stop winning everything he enters the car into!

Anyway, here's some pics. He wants some opinions on the M-tech badges.

I don't think he should fit the rear one he has bought...

Thats very nice Simon, he is a top fella.
I say keep the Msport and forget the search for a E30 M3 cab, buy a proper E30 M3.
Has he had the magnetic lock removed from the drivers door?.

No badge or spoiler of any description on the rear, for me

I'm glad you mentioned the lock, he asked me about it, and I wasn't 100%.

It wasn't fitted when he bought the car.

He had a feeling it had been removed. The light/led is still present under the rear number plate, but no wiring or anything running to it.

Should it have had the lock if the rear light is present then?

Yes indeed, probably been smoothed over.
They are useless anyway.

Andrew at WLN mentions/explains them on his website.

I saw one on a E30 M3 at Gaydon.

It may still be inside the door.

Get Mr Tudor to check under his rear bench, At the factory they put a sticky label on underneath with the number in the production run out of /250.

Looks a real bargin that.

Very nice Motorsport, good to see one in that condition. I personally think it looks better without the M Tech badge on the bootlid. I've got one on mine and have been meaning to remove it...

The one on the front looks ok I think.
