after returning my 9x15 bbs which stuck out to much, i decided to go for 8x15, im thinking of put 10mm spacers in the back or even 15mm, what you think, and drop the car a little more, at the moment the car is sitting 40mm front and 60mm rear, thinking of going 60mm front and 80mm back, the back lights are just a trial, what you think the black rears or full red rear lights.

do you think the wheels look to small on the car, cuz i do, i think i prefer my 9x16 azev a's on the car

looking nice mate, but the wheels do look a little bit small, why didnt you go for 16"?

a spacer at the back would make that sit spot on.

Your car looking very mint and clean. Does it is after restoration or original paint?

What color is it? diamont black or macau blue?

thanks

They do look good, and I can understand why you say the look small. Like Shaz has said, a 10mm spacer should help you with the rear offset. If you want 16"s you'd have to go for BBS RS's, might be worth scanning through german ebay for a cheap set? I did love your azev's though, i'm after a 9J set myself :x .

i had it painted about 18 months ago, its macoa blue.

i am definately going to need some spacers in the back, i think the wheels look small because of my tire size 195/45/15, i should of put 195/50/15 i think, it should look fine once the car is sitting a little lower and the wheels sticking out a bit

i had the wheels made from nick at retro-wheels, the very first plan was to make me a set of 16" wheels, but a good 6 months wait or something he tells me cant make them in 16" as they wont fit properly or something like that, thats why i had to settle for the 15",

They look superb! Very nice indeed.

I would go for bigger tyres next time personally, But I'm not a fan of the euro stretched look.

The main reason for them looking small is the gap in the wheel arch, but then it would be A nightmare lowering it any more. Maybe spacers at the back will do it justice? Have you got all the centres for the wheels? Back lights are no no from me im afraid, nice ride all the same though :thumb:

the reason the gap looks too big and the car so low is the choice of very undersized tyres..

They look awesome mate. Suite the car perfectly in my opinion. As said if anything maybe some slightly bigger profile tyres would be better. But I sure as hell wouldn't go any lower  Will end up waving cheery by to your sump and various other essential components.

did you ever think about a 5 stud conversion?

8 and 9x16 bbs rs are fairly common in e30 m3 5 stud fitment.

the 15s do look a little small, would look better lower, but would it still be driveable?

looks liek there's easily enough space for a 15mm spacer
cheers,

nice e30... definitely keep the rear lights, looks tough as, with the colour. yea if they were a size or 2 bigger would've look perfect, but in saying that it looks pretty dam phat at the moment. if you lower it more, have fun with the speed bumps :?

IIRC he bought them from retro-wheels, a member on here who still supply's these wheels to the customers spec

originally E3OBM fitted I think either 9j or 9.5j rears and he had issues and so had to go for the 8js

do a search and you'll see the thread, type E3OBM into the author and photo gallery as the section

hi, i bought them of a biggest timewaster and a d:*khead of here named retro-wheels, i will advise you not to buy of him, you have to wait about 2 years, you will not get what you want and you will NOT get a complete set, just as i experienced. very hard to get hold of him, but i know for sure he is avoiding me now as he still needs to send me a set of center caps.

anyway, i might be selling my wheels, call me on 07821220654 and we will sort something out
