Picture of the MONSPORT flowers (HUGE THANKS TO ALL !)

As most of you will, I'm sure, be aware, Malcolm (Monsport) sadly passed away yesterday morning after losing his battle with Cancer.

To mark the loss of a well liked and respected Zoner, we are doing a collection in Malc's memory.

Malcolm was a man who loved his garden and his flowers, and his widow has requested flowers for the funeral.

E30Mark will be sorting a suitable arrangement with "Monsport" in flowers. Any contributions towards this arrangement will be gratefully received.

I never knew of Malcolm but ive lost a lot of family members to cancer.

Malc was a decent bloke, this is the least I can do for him.
Think we've just about covered the flowers now, the rest will go to Malc's widow.

have just talked to english heritage and at the mo no prob with bringing the cars through the castle entrance to pay our respect to malc . drive in park up line up photos ect 2 min silence then we can go of or stay will see how much time they allow and we need a note of how many people so a list needs to be sorted asap gor if you could start the list will pm shortly with news ect.

Amazing. We've collected over £250 in a few days.
The Zone is an amazing place. Can't believe the number of people saying 'Never knew him, but...'
What other forum would this happen on? Several people have also commented to me that this wouldn't have happened on this or that forum.

Spoke to Malcolms widow Shelia last night and peeps, she was lost for words, truly lost.

She is so grateful and also so proud that Malc is being remembered like this.
