Day Two..

The trip to ToberMARY on Mull

This was an odd one.. Started when a 325i Cab pulled up 2 cars behind us on the ferry Queue- Top folks and were happy to get some pics with us.

Once on the ferry, a bloke came over and asked if we were the folks with the "old BMWs" (i wonder how he knew...)

Turns out he owned the only 3 on Mull- so he called his son and got the 318iS out to play

We spent 5hrs touring Mull, following most of the Mull Rally Route

Fantastic photos - keep em coming. Glad to see your turd back on the road, no more hankering for the scab then. Does the new decal make it go faster or is it covering a patch of no paint??

Scab was sold late Jan, good lady currently driving the e36 318iS replacement..

The sticker adds 200hp, and covers some of the bonnet where even primer is sparse

I'll try to get more photos up, but sifting through 400 + takes time..Glad you like them though!

We made Ullapool in "good" time.. Seriously- if you like wide sweeping roads-check it out!

A slightly odd contraption..

Smoo Cave Looking superb- a lot drier than the last time we were there!

Yeah All in all, it was superb!

As you say, the roads really made it- I was very impressed with Mull- Think I'll be over for the Rally this year.

Looks good.

Tiorum Castle looks familiar, also Neil you are correct, both the applecross roads (both the pass of the cattle and the "long road" on the way out) and the road to Ullapool are awesome!

Sounds good Guys. I really liked that this one was a A-to-B-to-C-to-D style one again, much more my style than having a base camp and doing a round trip and returning there every night

. Hopefully I should have a selection of cars to choose from too by then so that should be even better...S50 and highlands FTW

I remember that day well. I seem to recall a certain individual (who shall remain nameless)being unable to grasp the concept that a 316i touring could hunt him down with such ease.
