Anyone have a marque we can all sit in and drink together?

I'll take my tent and stuff but if it's really bad I'm going to sleep in the car (if it's wet I'll be on my own anyway!!)

Beaulieu grounds are not mossy Mr suchy, well kept grass and mainly drain quite well as the camping is on the high ground the rain should drain away nicely, we have spoken to Beaulieu this week about the the weather and as yet they have expressed no concerns. But as jims previous post states the weather is looking favourable! :D

Haha yeah I'm just winding Jim up Paul- he's had enough of our weather lately, I'm just trying to push him over the edge!!

My GF did a 24hr charity walk the weekend just gone and we had to pitch a camp in the pouring rain, and it rained sooooo much (and rained constantly in the run up to it) that the ground was really muddy. It stopped raining in the early hours of Sunday morning and the sun came out and within a few hours the ground was dry again.

Fear not people 8)

So is anyone taking a sided marque so if it does p1ss down we have somewhere to all hang out? :D

Camp... Much more fun. For camping you need to prebook your tickets, and arrive at the grounds between 4pm & 6pm on the Saturday, if your later, or earlier, then you need to contact Iain on here, his mobile is uualy posted somewhere in this thread, or someone else might be able to tell you different on who to contact.

If you prebook your tickets, and they havent arrived, you can sort it on the gate, but Im sure they need to be prebooked.

Sunday is pay on the gate though

Hi Jim,

I think I will come with the mrs, as sounds like a good day, would definitely be up for the convoy too, I'm near the m4 at Swindon, so was thinking I could meet you at the services near there if that's ok, you will have to let me know a time though and I'll have to find out the services name.

Cheers

Matt

Wont be camping though. I'll pay at the gate on Sunday morning.

That's an impressive list if every one shows up - the biggest Zone event to date? Are we all going to be parked together in one area on the Sunday? If so, is there a limit to the number of cars?

Please can everyone who has volunteered to marshall meet at the control box in the middle of the show ground at 8.30am for a quick briefing. Lunch on Sunday will be provided for those volunteering to marshall.

We have some very large club stands booked this year, so if you wish to be on the E30 Zone stand you will need to make sure your name is on this list.

Tickets can be bought on the gate on Sunday morning, you will also be able to collect your show and shine passes from Jess at the same time.

If you know anyone who would like club stand space that has not yet booked it, please get them to email Jess at thegermanshow@yahoo.co.uk

Despite the rain, the same rules apply this year about BBQ's they must be raised off the grass and not leave any damage to Beaulieu grounds.

For those of you that are camping the gates will be open from 4pm until 6pm on Saturday. Tickets for this will need to be pre-booked.

Here's to the best German Show yet! See you all on Sunday! :-)

I have spoken to Beaulieu and they will send out all tickets bought either today or tomorrow, after that they will leave the tickets on the gate to be collected.

The show and shine will be judged throughout the day, you will have to collect a pass from Jess on the gate and leave this in your windscreen allowing the judges to see you have entered, winners will be announced at around 3pm.

Sounds good mate,

We'll be following the Sat Nav so it should take us from the M1, along the M25 and onto the M3. I'm guessing you would join up us on the M3... If you was joining from the M25 too, we can stop at the first service we see?

Time wise, i'm not 100% just yet. I started a thread the other week for 'Convoy thread' in the meets part. We can organise it on there if you like...
