He had a passenger with him too as we lined up, so I thought this will be easy meat, I did him off the line but he was coming past me by the 1/8 mile marker. Beat me by a couple of car lengths.
I insisted on asking what was under the bonnet after we pulled up for another run. It was rocking a SR20. Saw it on the rolling road later on, think it was putting down about 280bhp![]()

i did whoop an e36 328i sport though
That was my car! I annoyed a few people that day including an e46 m3. It dyno'd 294.6 bhp, ALOT more than I was expecting. It was fun beating you guys though

And how did you manage to get all the power down without spinning the wheels too much with the standard tyre sizes? Do u have LSD ?

Shame it clashed with the Pistonheads Sunday Service at Ferrari with Silverstone as otherwise would have gone. I already been BMWCC Festival this year and PH SS was free so went there. Never been Santa Pod but would love to go.
On my way to Silverstone was behind a M5 V10 and a Z4 M Roadster too .... both turned off at a junction on M40 .... thought they were going Silverstone .... but they would have taken a diff route .... maybe they went to the show
Dont know what year the car was but it was a silver coupe. The owner wasn't too happy as we crossed the finish line! 1st gear span up but second gear onward was fine. I am running sligtly stretched cheapy 195/50/15's on 8j wheels. I Have a 3.64 lsd. My quickest time was 13.6 @102.8 mphpony wrote: That must be a BEAST JimJim.... which E46 M3 did you take on then ? Thanks for the shot of my e30 Diable, good to meet you and will chat more at Ace next time.
Unfortuantly my rolling shots were poor as i left my camera body on manual and lens on AF.

Was an ok-ish show, left early so didn't get to meet many or get shots... Highlight was the 30 man convoy to the Pod. Awesome.

This was lovley.
Few more pics in Ajays thread in the meeets section.

Rav is a sick foooker without a doubt. When confronted, he admitted he had added Rohypnol to the chicken tikka marinade !!! I knew I recognised that taste !

I was the bloke in the red/purpleish zip up hoody and shorts admiring project fridge.....freezing off his unmentionables as the weather forecast said it was going to be 25
Mine is the Brilliant rot cow plough fronted turd pictured above, you might not remember but you helped spec the donk in it when i rebuilt the head.
Rust is lighter than carbon fibre.
Probably an old c4 vette with the TPi engine. You wont be beating any c6 variant in your e30.fowler wrote:[the corvette owner i sacre in my lowley E30 estate the suprised look on the posh twats face was priceless

Didn't see the f10 go up the strip but did see it on the mobile dyno.
It did three runs
1. 649bhp
2. 550bhp
3. 497bhp
It kept trying to climb out of the rollers and the torque figures where all over the place.
Get the feeling it might not be that good

Had an email from Santa Pod earlier...
We had the largest stand area like in previous years, but we had around 60 cars turn up. The person who emailed me from Santa Pod and who sorted the tickets said she had lots of complaints from other clubs as our space could have been used for a larger group and we could have been placed elsewhere. Which is 100% spot on.
Next year, I doubt the zone will have a very big stand, or numbers turn up. Or anyone to organise anything as I wont be doing it next year I dont think
