hi

a couple of things really

what is the correct voltage for a battery when the car is ideling is 13.64 to low? i was always under the impression it should be 14 or above

what would cause a new battery (which has gone flat and been charged up 3 or more times) to drain itself when not attached to anything say from 12.07 to 12.02 in an hour?

any help would be appreciated

cheers

13.64 seems fine to me,did you fit the new battery to your car and then have to charge it? as a new battery shouldnt need charged,if the car has drained the battery that would explain why its dropping voltage.

Modern batteries don't take kindly to being fully discharged.
Have you checked for excessive battery drain when the car is switched off?
