My 320i currently has those nasty steels with the sh*t looking (although orignal) hubcaps, I'm just about to replace the with a set of bottle tops, will the tyres swap over will I have to buy new, does anybody know?

If you are using the same size rim then whatever you have now in the way of tyres should go straight on. What are bottle tops?
What about putting new tyres on your 'bottle tops' and selling your existing wheels and tyres as a package.
A tyre swap over is going to cost you Ԛ£5-Ԛ£10 each wheel anyway.
