Why does my coolant light keep coming on,water level is spot on??

Knackered water level sensor.........common for these to go now.....

sensor problem?

Try wrapping some wire around the two pins visible when you remove the connector from the sensor and re-assemble.

Effectively bypasses the sensor, but make sure it isnt low coolant levels first :wink:

You'll remember that piece of wire is there one day, when your car starts to misfire and you suddenly notice the temperature gauge is hard in the red.
Sort the switch properly - it's a real engine saver!
